Mad Science (Grades 1-5)
Our Sparking Imaginations summer camp theme will focus on the Science & Engineering within STEM. We will accomplish the Engineering using our LEGO-neering gear. The kids are also introduced to the key steps of the innovation design process. We will accomplish the Science using some very popular Mad Science kits. They include:
A wonderful combination of our Dry Ice and Slime kits, along with kits covering the science behind our human senses; a primer to some of the specialty medical sciences! Each day the kids will come away with three take home
items. Don t miss out on this imaginative, fun and knowledgebased camp!! For students entering grades 1-5.

Topics: This covers the engineering areas of Mechanical, Nautical, Civil, Aerospace, Automotive, Biomimicry, and Structural. We specifically zero in on these by building with LEGO bricks the following: a Machine, a Carnival Ride, a Boat, a Bridge, a Space Station, a Vehicle, an Insect, and a Tower. The Machine, Vehicle, and Insect are electrically operated.

Make & Takes: Students will build some of the take home items together in camp. Other items are designed to be built at home, extending the learning experience to the home!

Please be aware of the each age group and the appropriate class code. If a student is entering Pre-K in 2018-19 and a parent feels the student is developed enough for a camp setting, they are OK to register.
