Join the cast of Spongebob the Musical for a Mini-Musical Theatre camp!
Join us Saturday, April 23rd for a one-day mini camp where young artists can explore their talents and skills as musical theater actors in a performance of Tentacle Spectacle: The Musical, the spectacular story of Squidward’s childhood!
You'll be working with the directors of The SpongeBob Musical, Katie Boothroyd Payton and Trevor Wiley, as well as cast and crew members from the show. They'll make sure each student is ready to take the stage with confidence in a friends and family performance of their mini-musical before enjoying Waukee Northwest’s rendition of The SpongeBob Musical.
No previous experience necessary; all experience levels are welcome!
April 23rd, Check-in begins at 2:00pm in Waukee NW Commons. Friends and Family Performance in the Auditorium at 6:30pm.
Students will receive a SpongeBob Musical T-shirt (the same one the cast and crew receives!) & 2 tickets to The SpongeBob Musical on April 23rd.
The Spongebob Musical begins at 7:00pm. Everyone will exit the auditorium following the mini-musical performance and before the SpongeBob Musical.
Students need to bring: a sack dinner, closed-toe shoes, and neutral-colored pants for movement. Camp t-shirt included in registration.
