Camp will focus on the fundamentals and basic skills used in the game of football.  The campers will learn the terminology and philosophy of the Warrior football program.  Campers will drill in all football areas:  Offense, Defense, and Special Teams, while having time to compete in fun, team-oriented games each day.  Coaches from Waukee High School, Middle School, area youth teams, and current WHS players comprise the Warrior Football Camp with an exceptional coaching staff.  

Camp Director is Gabe Bakker, who is in his 1st year as Head Coach at Waukee High School.  The Warriors are building a successful program through character-building, strength training, and high expectations on-and-off the field.  He previously was the head coach at Clear Creek Amana and Pleasantville high schools.  His teams have consistently improved and qualified for the playoffs in five of nine seasons.  He is entering his 17th year coaching football.  He spent 7 years as an assistant at West Des Moines Valley, where he was a part of 3 class 4A State Championship teams.  He is a graduate and football letter winner of Iowa State University.

PLEASE NOTE: If registering more than one student, you will only see the first name on your receipt. However, all siblings will show up as registered on the coach's list.
