Get ready for an explosion of fun and discovery in Crazy Chemical Creations! This is your chance to trade in your homework for a lab coat as we dive into the exciting world of atoms and molecules. Over the next few weeks, you'll become a Master Mixer, conducting incredible experiments like growing sparkling Borax Crystals overnight and designing colorful, life-giving Seed Bombs to take home. We’ll even turn snack time into science time with our Candy Corn Chemistry investigation and watch in amazement as we conjure up dazzling effects with Metal Magic. Prepare for things to fizz, bubble, grow, and maybe even get a little messy—because that's when the best science happens! But the fun doesn't stop there! Our biggest creation will be the stretchy, squishy, shimmering metallic slime you'll customize and keep.
Each activity is a hands-on adventure designed to make you feel like a real scientist, not just reading about science, but doing it! You’ll learn the secrets behind why things react, change color, and transform right before your eyes. Students will learn scientific inquiry by making predictions, and testing their ideas. Students will learn how to observe and analyze, increase fine motor skills, and develop resilience through learning how to be patient when solving problems.
