Individual 30 minute sessions for 6 sessions

Designed for percussion students currently in grades 6–9, this course focuses on continuing the development of essential musical skills to prepare for future musical opportunities. Students will engage with a structured percussion curriculum that emphasizes technique, musicality, note reading, rhythmic accuracy, and overall musicianship. The course includes six 30-minute individual lessons, providing personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs. Instruction is led by a percussion and band specialist currently teaching fifth grade in the Waukee Community School District.
