Teaching artists from Chicago will be hosting this camp. They currently have a show running at Second City in Chicago. Second City is a huge training ground for stars of Saturday Night Live. Students will learn sketch comedy and improv and work on creating their own version of Saturday Night Live! Students will learn improv skills and the art of writing comedy and character development as they create their own appropriate version of Saturday Night Live! Students will be looking at pop culture to thread through a fun show that they create! We will incorporate body movement and voice to demonstrate shifts in characters as well as props and some light costuming when needed. There will be a final performance Friday for parents to watch.
