Learn how to be a responsible and caring babysitter that parents will love to hire! Participants will learn about basic first aid, how to respond in emergencies, how to care for/entertain infants and young children, and the role and responsibilities of a good babysitter. This four-session course is for youth in 5th grade and above, and includes a babysitter manual, first aid kit, and diaper to use for practice. This class is facilitated by educators from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Dallas County. Note: registration deadline is 10 days prior.
