In this exciting culinary summer camp students will grow in their experiences in the kitchen. Students can be first time participants or have fallen in love with the Warrior Kitchen experience in years past. Students will learn basic knife skills, learn to use measuring tools, and operate a variety of kitchen equipment and small appliances. Students will learn these skills through preparing entree dishes they will be able to prepare on their own at home, side dishes to complement these entrees, and desserts to finish off the meal. Students will grow in their knowledge of preparing quick breads, meat products, and fruits and vegetables. All food is provided. Students will need to bring a notebook and pen each day. For students entering grades 7-8.



*All food allergies or food customizations can be accommodated for if they are noted at time of registration. Foods are ordered and purchased prior to the class starting and we need to know what students can or cannot consume. Examples to note in registration would be: gluten free, dairy free, does not consume pork, vegetarian, other food allergies, etc.
