Monday-Friday, 9 am-Noon
Timberline School, Vocal Music Room #111
Students will create their own short theatrical production from script to performance! Campers will spend the week inside and outside, inventing their own story, developing characters, creating a script, and working to make a set, props and costumes. Students will get an introduction to all aspects of theater, including: stage and use of space; learning how to use their voice for stage; beginning acting techniques; a glimpse into all of the collaboration that goes on behind the scenes of a production. We will use all of their fun creative ideas to create a show for parents. We will showcase our hard work at the end of week, over the lunch hour on Friday, at a nearby park. Rain location is Timberline School. More information can be found at wagnersummertheater.com. Please bring a peanut-free snack, in a lunch cooler if needed. For students entering grades 1-4.
